Wedding playlist: let’s dance!

Choosing music is a fundamental moment of the wedding: it highlights the best moments of the day and entertains, creating the right atmosphere. Here are some practical tips on which music to choose and our recommendations for your wedding playlist!

Music at the wedding is a fundamental component: try to imagine a party – because that’s what it is! – without musical entertainment … A moment without personality, without an identity.

But how to choose the music? Which songs to opt for? First of all, take into account the type of ceremony: if it will be religious, therefore in church, you will be able to range less in the pop music repertoire, choosing mainly church songs, even if lately some license is granted, inserting “secular” songs in the lineup. If it will be civil or a symbolic ritual, then the choice will be vast and can really include almost any type of pop or even rock song. What matters is that it reflects your personality as a couple and as an individual: just like the dress, the music must also be in harmony with the rest of the party.

Just one trick: during the reception, while at the table, invite the musicians who will take care of the musical entertainment to keep the music at an acceptable, unobtrusive volume, that is, that does not hinder the chatter. After the cutting of the cake or after the first dance of the spouses with their parents, when the party starts, then there it will be possible to turn up at full volume!

Finally, if you are a fan of it, nowadays it is very fashionable to prepare flash mobs, studied choreographies, but which seem improvised on the spot. Sometimes, they involve spouses and guests, in others the spouses are totally unaware of it: it could thus become a nice surprise to amaze them on their most beautiful day!

Now, after the practical advice, let’s move on to the romantic side: here are the songs that we recommend in the various moments of the wedding. These are my favorites, but at this link you can find others. And which ones will you choose?
