Typical Borgo

A charming typical Borgo located along the ancient Via Francigena between the towns of San Gimignano and Colle Val d’Elsa. Immersed in a lush strech of vineyards and olive groves it has a magnific panoramic view on the towers of San Gimignano, the surrounding valleys and the Chianti Classico. The estate produces famous wines and a good extra virgin olive oil cold pressed. The venue lays in a strategic position that allows people to plan a very pleasant and relaxing journey in Tuscany: it is easily accessible by car and the ideal base to discover the wonders of Chianti with its mild hills and ancient villages sprouting from the landscape like hand-painted postcards. The main entrance is an iron gate overlooking the vineyards, which is often described as “the gate to heaven”. Like in a small village, apartments and rooms are located in separate stone buildings; each accommodation is different from another and all converge to a beautiful garden and a terrace overlooking the panorama where a typical Tuscan restaurant is available for guests. A main terrace reachable few minutes walking can host a breath-taking symbolic ceremony, in a perfect magical atmosphere. A stunning swimmingpool facing the green hills can be the ideal setting for a reception dinner and a fabulous cutting of the cake.
